Took off for Idaho today. There is a Julie Roberts song called "Break Down Here" that pertains to my leaving California for Idaho. I have mixed feelings but am taking a leap anyways. I stopped in Nevada to take a picture at the 215 mile marker.

#239 of 365: In The Palm Of My Hand
When the early evening sun shines through the peep hole of the front door of my house it makes a rainbow that shines all the way down the front entry and hallway. When we were little kids my brother and sisters and I would walk the length of the hall trying to keep the rainbow on our palms the whole time. I did it for old times sake today.

#237 of 365: Ain't No Mountain High Enough
Since we don't have much time left to spend together before I move to Idaho, Johnathan and I wanted to take a whole day to just ourselves. We drove to Yosemite and hiked Vernal Falls. It was the best day ever. There was still a lot of snow on the mountain, which made it a little tricky hiking the upper part of the trail, but we survived. Once we got to the top of the falls we ate our lunch and laid around and hung out up at the top. We kind of got a late start so we were the only ones up there. It was so incredibly beautiful and I loved experiencing it with Johnathan. I love love love this picture of us.

#235 of 365: The Gem State
My friends and coworkers, Dean and Cathy, threw me a going away party since I'm going to be moving to Idaho. Dina made Idaho shaped sugar cookies. In the picture I'm pointing to where I'll be living.

#234 of 365: Covered
Desirae, Johnathan and I went to Knights Ferry this afternoon, ate lunch at the 50's diner and hiked around the river. Here we are crossing the covered bridge.

Kickin' It Old School With Film
Here are some images from a roll of 200 speed film I got developed from that old Pentax camera I'm "borrowing" from a friend. None of the photos have been post processed. I love that they came out vintage looking!
My Wandering Jew plant I've managed to keep alive at work. It's even been growing and thriving! It is gorgeous and I love it but I've had to give it to Dina to take care of since I'll be moving.
Some lemons sitting on my desk that a student brought me from his tree.
The lens is a 50mm so I was playing around with the focus.
A benchmark that I stumbled upon while in Yosemite.
An amazing view of the Yosemite Valley! You can see Bridalveil Falls in the background.

Another visit with the best hair stylist in the world, Josh. I love my one on one time with him. And how fabulous he makes me look.

#230 of 365: Crime Scene
It looks like I murdered someone, dumped them out in the country and am preparing to bury the evidence, huh?

#228 of 365: Chain Reaction
I made this bracelet after being inspired by one I saw on Etsy. It took a lot of chain and almost 2 weeks of working on it every night while watching the Winter Olympics. I'm in love with it!
