Twilight Movie: My Review (spoilers!)

I am a Twilighter, Twi-Hard, or whatever you want to call us super fans. I've been waiting for this movie to come out for approximately 180 days. I know that because I've been watching my "Twilight Movie Countdown" widget for the past six months. I had to be at the midnight showing on opening day, of course. I wore my Twilight cast t-shirt. My friends and I waited in line to get in the theater for 5 hours. I saw it again later that day. I thought it was great. Actually, I loved it. I hate watching movies more than once. Can't stand it. But I still paid attention watching Twilight the second time and I want to watch it again even.

Of course I have my complaints. I wish certain characters were more developed. Twilight, the novel, has so many great and hugely developed characters that I know it's impossible to create that kind of character development in 2 hours.

I wish there were more romantic love scenes between Edward and Bella after they finally get together. The two almost never touch in the movie. They get close, really close, a lot actually, but never really touch.

Most of the special effects were pretty lame. Especially any of them that involved Bella on Edward's back. That was just fake and cheesy.

I wish the meadow scene was longer, with more sparkling, less twinkling. Did the sound that the sparkles make bother anyone else?

My favorite things about the movie were Edward's smile. I wish he did it more because it was so darn cute. Robert Pattinson did a great American accent. I almost like it better than his British accent. (Did I just say that?)

Kristen Stewart was a strong, awkward Bella.

Loved the baseball scene. Jasper's hot in it.

Loved when Edward saved Bella in Port Angeles.

Loved the part where Charlie was cleaning his gun.

Loved the human boys vying for Bella's attention in the cafeteria. Bella's human friends, like Mike, Eric, Jessica and Angela were way more funny and charming than in the book. I liked them.

Loved during the ballet scene when Edward and James are fighting and they tear up the floor boards!

The gazebo at the prom was beautiful!!! I want to dance there. With Edward.

Go see the movie. Even if you haven't read the books. It's good. If you need someone to go with take me!!!
