#198 of 365: All You Can Eat

Tonight I went to a crab feed with a bunch of people from work. I hate seafood so I was given the option of steak instead. I was served the biggest steak I have ever seen in real life! I cut it up and shared it with everyone else because it was so big. Although I was not eating crab I was made to wear the bib along with everyone else.

#197 of 365: Word For Word

I am OBSESSED with this app on my iPhone called Words with Friends. It is basically just Scrabble but you can play with other people you know and don't know who have the app too. At any given time I have at least 5 games going. With coworkers, the woman from jury duty, friends, random strangers. I love when I find out that people I know play too and can play with them.

#195 of 365: Comfort Meets Style

I've owned a lot of high heels in my life, but these ones are the most amazing! They are cute, go with just about everything and are incredibly comfortable! Seriously, I wear these puppies for 10, 11, 12 hours straight with no problem at all. Amazing!

We found a ton of worms while out walking in the rain this afternoon. This one was giant and super slimy!

#191 of 365: Cat Nap

I hung out at Dina's house tonight for her birthday party. But mostly I hung out with Louie, her new kitten she got for Christmas. Here he is all cuddled up with his toy monkey on my lap.

#190 of 365: Awe Inspiring

My parents, grandma, aunt and I went to Yosemite for the day. The weather was gorgeous and everything was so beautiful! We did and saw so much! We hiked to the Lower Yosemite Falls before it got dark. But my favorite part was going to the Ahwahnee Hotel. It is so grand and romantic.

#188 of 365: I Couldn't Be Happier

I got the opportunity to see Wicked again with my mom, Aunt Liesl and Grandma Palmer. We got 4th row seats to this afternoon's show. It was just as wonderful the second time. Maybe better because we were so close to the stage and the actors.

My nickname at work is "Cherub" and it has spread all over. So I wore my angel wings today to prove it.

#185 of 365: Quintessential

I noticed this Pentax K1000 camera on a coworker's desk today. I knew he had left for the day so I took the camera before someone stole it. When I called to tell him that I had the camera he told me that a student was going to throw it away but rescued it from him. It is in perfect condition. I purchased film and a battery for it and it works perfectly. The perfect camera. My coworker might not get it back...

It was a very good day. Busy, but I had a lot of time to think and contemplate.

Blow drying your hair upside-down is supposed to give it more body, so I religiously do.

#182 of 365: Goddess of Justice

Today was my last day as an alternate juror in a criminal case. I didn't realize how much this case would affect me. It's been a crazy couple of weeks and I'm glad it's over.

#177 of 365: Brutal Bashing

I was bored and Rusty wanted me to come over to shoot shotguns with him and Matt. When I got there the boys had taken a break from shooting to light some bottle rockets. Not too long after I got there though, the sheriff showed up and wanted to know what we were doing, where the gun came from, what we were shooting, did we know that fireworks were illegal, etc. Luckily, he let us off the hook after making us dump the rest of the bottle rockets in a bucket of water. Darn! So that ended all the fun. So then we all were bored. But Rusty got this "great" idea that we should all break a clay pigeon over our own heads. So each of us loaded a clay pigeon in the launcher and took turns basically slamming it down on our head, while the other two watched and video taped. When it was my turn I guess I didn't hit it hard enough because it didn't break on the first try. The second hit was a winner. And it didn't even hurt that bad. I had a bruise later though.

#176 of 365: The Bad Beginning

I had big plans for today's photo! And Rusty and I drove ALL over town trying to fulfill them. I wanted a giant 2010 to take a picture by, but we found none. Not even a Happy New Year sign. So this calendar is actually pretty disappointing. Sorry.
