Should I dye my hair red?

I've been thinking about dying my hair red for awhile. I haven't dyed my hair in like 9 years. Back then I let Misty convince me that I needed blonde highlights. I did it because "everyone else was doing it." But the cap had a rip in it and I had giant chunks of random blondness. It was awful! So I the next day I went to a salon and she tried to cover it up with an orangeish color. It was pretty cool but ever since then I've been pretty satisfied with my natural color.
